Cultural heritage institutions have been digitalizing their cultural heritage for a long time. However, up until now, no proper research, nor discussion, has taking place concerning the incorporation of this digitalized material into learning processes. It is primordial to look into how this material can be used and it is equally important to assess what unique values this digital heritage holds.
In 2014, NCK conducted a pilot study that looked into the current digital trends worldwide, which will inform the development of a larger project in 2015.
