Implementing HLO is a two-year project financed by Nordplus Vuxen. The purpose is to strengthen the archives and the museums relevance in the society by using heritage learning. The project develops different tools and methods and does a systematic evaluation on teacher activities in cultural heritage environments. The key competences developed by the European Union, Generic Learning Outcomes (GLO) and Generic Social Outcomes (GSO) are important concepts in this project.
NCK coordinates the project. Other partners are The Regional State Archives in Trondheim, The Aalborg State Archives, Jamtli, National Archives of Iceland, Helsinki City Museum och Open-Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumsiskes.
