During a three-year period NCK studied the effect of the Swedish national program Skapande skola in schools and museums. Since 2008 the schools has been given money from the state to use on different culture activities – this includes visits at museums.
NCK is using GLO (Generic Learning Outcomes) to evaluate the effect of the program. The method was developed in Great Britain at Leicester University on behalf of MLA (Museums, Libraries & Archives Council). It has shown to be a powerful tool to measure and understand the effect of learning.
