Charina Knutson was employed by the Jamtli Foundation in 1997 and has extensive experience in museum management and development, particularly from her years as a deputy director. In September 2024, she became the director of NCK. Over the past few years, Charina Knutson has been working on her dissertation in archaeology at Linnaeus University. Her research focuses on Indigenous cultural heritage and its management in Sweden, Norway, and British Columbia, Canada. She holds an MA in History and an MA in Archaeology from Uppsala University, as well as a Journalism Degree from the University of Gothenburg.

Helena Kuhlefelt has been project manager since August 2020. Helena has a background in cultural analysis and has previous experience from both civil society and the public sector. Her areas of interest concern power, representation and identity, but also work processes and collaborating across topic- and professional boundaries.

Sofia Eriksson Bergström

Sofia has a PhD in Pedagogy at Umeå University and has worked as a lecturer and researcher at Mid Sweden University and currently works part-time as a pedagogical developer at the County Museum in Västernorrland. In her research, she is interested in the conditions of physical places for creativity and in how institutions such as museums can function as didactic resources in teaching.
